Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Georgia is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. The put-in location is a short drive from Seneca, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. This is the only paddling stretch along Shoal Creek. No need to look hard for hotels, but if you don’t have reservations     you might end up sleeping in your car. This is an extremely short stretch so better bring some good walking shoes. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers.
