The starting point is not too far from Seneca, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Georgia you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. There's camping available near Warwoman Creek. The beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is an added bonus.
There are no other sections to paddle along Warwoman Creek than the Earl's Ford Road to Chattooga River section. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, suitable for an afternoon trip. The wonderful Georgia scenery and the playfulness of the water will make
you feel great. The Earl's Ford Road to Chattooga River section of Warwoman Creek in Georgia is 7.2 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II-III section. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good places for that around here. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
Briefly about the general area: Goble Gap is a nice place to have a look at nearby, and there are great locations to
discover along the Chattooga Trail. High temperatures at Warwoman Creek all through the warm months are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Warwoman Creek dipping down
into the 20's through winter nights. Having a great time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is trouble-free. Don't leave Warwoman Creek without first going for a hike along the Bartram Trail. Warwoman Creek gets a large amount of water; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
