Says chris Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. The scenic beauty of Georgia and the cool fresh water have people coming here. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come. For all you camping people there are campgrounds     nearby. This stretch has has enough mileage, good for a one day paddling trip. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Briefly about the general area: All the water falling down from the sky makes Wolf Creek a wet location; all through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is October. Through the summertime, highs usually are in the 80's at Wolf Creek. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's.
