The beautiful scenery of Carroll County and the water flowing gracefully down Wolf Creek are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The put-in is not too far from LaGrange,     please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. On this section you do get some distance, it's perfect for a one day trip. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. Briefly about the general area: Wolf Creek is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; March is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is October. For the duration of the summer months, highs typically are in the 80's at Wolf   Creek. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 50's while Wolf Creek night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's.
