The nature scenery of unknown County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. A stretch this long is of course
too much for a one day trip, so better bring your camping gear along. No shortage of good hotels, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The Highway 124 to Lake Jackson section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system.
