the Fir Creek Campground to Middle Fork Salmon confluence stretch is the only one. This stretch has has enough mileage, suitable for an afternoon trip. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in
advance you're all set. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many runs in this state are not easy.
