Idaho whitewater - Bitch Creek, Teton/ Freemont County Teton/ Freemont county, Coyote Meadows to Highway 32 Bridge section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.   CLASS III-IV     10 miles   This section of Bitch Creek is 10 miles long and has been rated as a class III-IV section by American Whitewater. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Jackson, as you can see on the road map further down. The Coyote Meadows to Highway 32 Bridge section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so don't forget that the rivers in this state are less manageable. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will     make you glad you came. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so go ahead and pack your camp stove. The beautiful scenery of Teton/ Freemont County and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good places for that around here. There's camping available near Bitch Creek.
