  The nature scenery of Bongham County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water beats anything. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Idaho are often tougher than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with not too many other places for that. The Trail Creek Bridge to Cedar
    Creek Close to Aldridge section of Blackfoot River in Bongham County is 8 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class IV section. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's perfect for a one day trip. Great exercise and just hanging
out with mother nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. The Trail Creek Bridge to Cedar Creek Close to Aldridge section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Idaho Falls, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost.

River you can take a hike along the Portneuf Presto Trail. Summertime highs at Blackfoot River commonly tend to be in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
