Idaho whitewater - Boundary Creek, Boundary County Boundary county, Close to Canadian border to Road 2450 section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.   CLASS IV-V     10 miles   The nature scenery of Boundary County and the water flowing gracefully down Boundary Creek have people coming here. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Idaho are often more challenging than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. Boundary Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Close to Canadian border to Road 2450 section is the only one. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it     an overnighter, so why not pack your camp stove too. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with not too many other places for that. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. Briefly about the general area: Near Boundary Creek you locate the Hall Mountain Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. High temperatures at Boundary Creek all through the summer months are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Boundary Creek temperatures plunge to the 10's.
