The put-in location is a short drive from Mountain Home, as you can see on the road map further down. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Idaho are often more challenging than in other states, so don't forget that many runs in this state are not easy. The beautiful scenery of Owyhee County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. You might be into whitewater rafting     or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are not so many other good places for that around here. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This stretch has has enough mileage, you can easily run it on an afternoon. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This river system is full of great paddling sections, the Winter Camp to Roberson Trail section is just one of them.
