The wonderful Clearwater/ Nez Perce County scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Now this is a pretty long section, so make sure you pack enough food along with your camping gear. The Dworshack Reservoir     to Washington border section of Clearwater River in Idaho is 41.3 miles long and it is classified as a class I-III section by American Whitewater. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a pretty small number of paddling spots. The Dworshack Reservoir to Washington border section is the only paddling section along Clearwater River. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Briefly about the general area: An average amount of precipitation falls at Clearwater River; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. During the long summer days at Clearwater River temperatures are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in   temperatures fall down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Clearwater River.
