The wonderful Idaho scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The Headwaters to Reservoir stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you
coming back for more. A stretch this long is of course too much for a one day trip, perfect for a real wilderness adventure. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you won't find many other paddling spots. There aren’t any
hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
