This stretch of Clearwater River - North Fork in Idaho is 28 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III-V section. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. This stretch is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so pack your camping stuff. When you're paddling down a Clearwater Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here.
