The scenic beauty of Idaho and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Idaho are harder than the national norm, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. If you hurry you can run this stretch in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with not too many other rivers for
that. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. The Senator Creek Campground to Prichard section of Coeur d'Alene River in Shoshone County is 26 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II section. There
aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The river winds through the Bitterroot Range and you get great scenery. This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the Senator Creek Campground to Prichard section is one of them.
