If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. On this section you do get some distance, it's good length for a morning trip. The Jordan Creek to Teepee Creek section is the only paddling section along Couer d'Alene River - Big North Fork. some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. When you're paddling down a Bitterroot Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are not
so many other good rivers for that around here. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. The natural beauty of Shoshone County and the cool fresh water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
