The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Idaho are often tougher than in other states, so better not forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. The scenic beauty of Boise County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream beats anything. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places.     There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. This stretch has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so pack your camp stove. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. The beauty of the Salmon River Mountains is a great plus for this river. The campgrounds here at Deadwood River are pretty good. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
