CLASS III 14 miles
The nature scenery of Idaho and the water flowing gracefully down Falls River are reasons enough to come here and paddle. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. The starting point is not too far from Jackson, as you can see on the road map further down. The Cave Falls Campground WY to Concrete Bridge stretch of Falls River in
Idaho is 14 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III section. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short
distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too.
