Box Canyon can be floated by most anyone in a canoe, raft, drift boat, kayak or pontoon boat 8'+. There are enough rocks and shoreline sweepers to keep you on your toes. It's mainly floated by anglers or pleasure floaters and is often done several times a day due to it's nice short length of 4 miles. It's not real wilderness but the wilds are closeby and it's got a nice feel. Says Larry Tullis

that rivers here are less forgiving. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. The Box Canyon to Last Chance stretch of Henrys Fork in Idaho is 4 miles long and it is classified as a class II section by American Whitewater.
