The beautiful scenery of Fremont County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. The put-in is not too far from Rexburg, as you can see on the road map further down. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. This stretch is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so pack your camp stove. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good places. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
