This section of Henrys Fork is 11 miles long and has been rated as a class III-V section by American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Idaho is often tougher than elsewhere, so keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There are plenty of other stretches     in this river system that can be paddled as well. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of places for that. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so pack your sleeping bag. The wonderful Fremont County scenery and the cool fresh water beats anything. Briefly about the general area: Don't leave Henrys Fork without first paying a visit to Sheep Falls. Henrys Fork is a location that is relatively dehydrated generally; June is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. The warmest time of the year at Henrys Fork arrives with   high temperatures in the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 40's.
