This stretch of Johnson Creek in Valley County is 5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II(III) section. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. When you're paddling down a Salmon River Mountains river like this one you always get great
