This section of Little Wood River in Idaho is 70.4 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-III section of whitewater. If you're coming from Twin Falls it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way in this general area you won't find many other     paddling places. The campgrounds here at Little Wood River are pretty good. This is the only paddling stretch along Little Wood River. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Idaho are often more challenging than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people.
