The natural beauty of Idaho County and the cool fresh water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way     around here you'll find a large number of good spots. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. The Bitterroot Range scenery is wonderful. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
