This stretch of Lochsa River is 15 miles long and has been rated as a class III-V section by American Whitewater. There's camping available near Lochsa River. rafting and kayaking outside Idaho you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find
| a large number of good spots. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Briefly about the general area: While you're here at Lochsa River you can take a hike
along the East Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail, and Idaho Point is an interesting thing to see while you're here. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Clearwater Mountains has
to offer. On a fine day at Lochsa River you can take a hike along the Mule Creek Trail. Lochsa River gets a common amount of annual precipitation.
