The natural beauty of Idaho and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Idaho is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if     you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so why not pack your camping stuff too. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a pretty small number of paddling places. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature will have you coming back for more. Whitewater paddling here in the Clearwater Mountains is a great experience. Briefly about the general area: Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lolo Creek, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Lolo Creek dipping   down into the 10's during winter nights.
