Cottonwood Flats to Clearwater River section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS III-IV 15 miles
I did this trip in about 6 hours. Lots of get and drag over huge boulders. Water level was moderate for a wet year. Nice if you have all day and get an early start. I screwed up and started paddling at 11:00 AM, didn't get to the haul out until dark... Oooops... Says Grant Grove

so don't forget that rivers here are less forgiving. The river winds through the Clearwater Mountains and you get great scenery. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end
