The average Idaho whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be harder to run than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling rivers. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. If you hurry you     can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The river winds through the Clearwater Mountains and you get great scenery. The natural beauty of Idaho and the cool fresh water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. Briefly about the general area: Through the warm months highs here at Lolo Creek reach the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the   30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lolo Creek.
