The scenic beauty of Idaho and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water beats anything. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. Now this is a pretty long section, so it looks like you will be camping out. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other places. This river system is full of great
paddling stretches, the Crutcher's Crossing to Three Forks stretch is just one of them. There's camping available near Owyhee River. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river
if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This stretch of Owyhee River in Idaho is 36 miles long and it is classified as a class III section by American Whitewater.

Through the summertime highs here at Owyhee River get into the 80's, and the night is a little chillier of course, ordinarily in the 40's.
For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; nighttime lows through the winter for Owyhee River tend to be in the 10's. It's always magnificent to stop at Saddlehorse Spring, and you might also want to pay a visit to Berry Gulch if you're here at Owyhee River. Don't leave Owyhee River without first paying a visit to Idaho Spring.
