This stretch of Pack River is 7 miles long and it is classified as a class II section by American Whitewater. This stretch has has enough mileage, good for a one day paddling trip. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other rivers. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Idaho is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're not from around     here don't forget that many runs in this state are not easy. There's camping available near Pack River. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come.
