This section of Panther Creek in Idaho is 4 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class III section of whitewater. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The beauty of the Bitterroot Range is a great plus for this river. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you     don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Idaho is often more difficult than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. This stretch is mid length, good for a one day paddling trip. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you won't find a large number of other spots.
