This section of Payette River - North Fork in Idaho is 10.4 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II-IV section. The nature scenery of Valley County and the cool fresh water have people coming here. The Upper Payette Lake to Big Payette Lake section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so if you're not from around here don't forget that the rivers in this state are less manageable. And of course,
