The Smiths Ferry to Banks stretch of Payette River - North Fork in Valley/ Boise County is 16 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class V section. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here are less forgiving.
