The Headwaters to Priest Lake stretch of Priest River is 28.2 miles long and it is classified as a class I-IV section by American Whitewater. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The natural beauty of Boundary / Bonner County and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff.
