  The Marsh Creek to Boundary Creek section of Salmon River - Middle Fork in Custer County is 8 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class III-IV section. The beautiful scenery of Idaho and the water flowing gracefully down Salmon River - Middle Fork will make you feel great. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a large number of paddling spots. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Idaho is often more difficult than elsewhere, so don't forget that a large number of rivers in
    this state are not easy. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The Marsh Creek to Boundary Creek section is one of a few paddling sections in
this river system. There's camping available near Salmon River - Middle Fork. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily run it on an afternoon. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. The Sawtooth Range scenery is wonderful.
