The Smith Creek Bridge to above Smith Creek Falls section of Smith Creek in Boundary County is 6 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class IV-V+ section. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a pretty small number of paddling rivers. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit     to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Smith Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Smith Creek Bridge to above Smith Creek Falls section is the only one. This is a pretty decent length section, good for a one day paddling trip. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so if you're not from around here don't forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. Briefly about the general area: Smith Creek is generally a reasonably dried out spot; November is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is July. For the duration of the summertime months, highs generally are in the 80's at Smith Creek while nighttime lows are usually   in the 50's.
