  The put-in is not too far from Twin Falls, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The Crystal Springs to Upper Salmon Falls Res section of Snake River in Gooding/ Twin Falls County is 16 miles long and is a class I-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Idaho you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend
    some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The Crystal Springs to Upper Salmon Falls Res section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river
if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The wonderful Idaho scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a pretty small number of paddling spots.
