  The Crystal Springs to Upper Salmon Falls Res stretch of Snake River is 16 miles long and is a class I-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Twin Falls, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. The scenic beauty of Gooding/ Twin Falls County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. You can enjoy this stretch more if you take your time, so go ahead and pack your camp stove. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots
    in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with not too many other spots for that. Getting your paddling muscles activated
