Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. The nature scenery of Gooding/ Twin Falls County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you won't find many other paddling spots. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, good for a one
day paddling trip. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This stretch of Snake River in Idaho is 6 miles long and has been determined by American
Whitewater to be a class I-II section. There are some good sections to paddle in this river system, the Hagerman to Bliss section is one of them. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more.
