Idaho whitewater - Snake River, Gooding/ Twin Falls County
Gooding/ Twin Falls
county,
Hagerman to Bliss section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS I-II 6 miles
The Hagerman to Bliss section of Snake River is 6 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I-II section. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you won't
find a large number of other spots. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's perfect for a one day trip. The natural beauty of Idaho and the beautiful way the water current
moves down the stream attract people from near and far. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come.
