The beautiful scenery of Idaho and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The river winds through the Wallowa Mountains and you get great scenery. A stretch of this length does require some preparations, so better bring your camping gear along. The average Idaho whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be harder to run than those in other states, so better not forget that
rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The Hells Canyon Dam to Pittsburg Landing section of Snake River

Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good spots for that around here. Rapids will fill your spirit with splendid feelings. It is very dehydrated here at Snake River commonly; the month with most of the rain is May, and July on the other hand is the driest. A good place to stop at in the neighborhood of Snake River is Weinheimer Gulch, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Heavens Gate Trail.
