The scenic beauty of Idaho and the water flowing gracefully down Snake River are reasons enough to come here and paddle. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. There are some good sections to paddle in this river system, the Milner Power Plant to Star Falls section is one of them. There's camping available near Snake River. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking,     either way there are not so many other good spots for that around here. This section of Snake River in Twin Falls/Jerome County is 7.3 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class I(II) section. On this section you do get some distance, good for a one day paddling trip. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Briefly about the general area: All through the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Snake River. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Snake River.
