The Highway 33 Bridge to Spring Hollow stretch of Teton River in Idaho is 5 miles long and is a class IV-V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. This stretch has has enough mileage, you can easily run it on an afternoon. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. You can pitch     a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the Highway 33 Bridge to Spring Hollow section is one of them. The beautiful scenery of Idaho and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Idaho are often tougher than in other states, so keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. Briefly about the general area: It is very dehydrated here at Teton River generally; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow while July is regularly the driest month. Through the months of summer at Teton River temperatures are generally in the 80's, and the nighttime is quite   colder of course, mostly in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Teton River sink into the 0's.
