This stretch of Teton River in Fremont County is 6.3 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-III section of whitewater. The starting location is a short drive from Rexburg, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The wonderful Idaho scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water beats anything. The Teton Dam site to Teton Forks section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so don't forget
| that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number of good places.

Not much precipitation falls here at Teton River; the month with most of the rain is May, and August is the month with the least moisture. If you're going to Teton River from Rexburg, you won't be the only one.
