This stretch of Weitas Creek in Idaho is 18 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II(IV) section of whitewater. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so go ahead and pack your     sleeping bag. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so better not forget that rivers here are less forgiving. When you're paddling down a Clearwater Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
