If you're coming from Marion-Herrin it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The Play Section section is the only paddling section along Little Grassy Creek. This section is very short so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more.
