  This section of Clifty Creek - Fall Fork is 1.3 miles long and has been rated as a class I-II(IV) section by American Whitewater. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more forgiving, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the rivers in this state are not very demanding. The starting location is a short drive from Columbus, as you can see on the road map further down.
    This stretch is very short so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The natural beauty of Bartholomew County and the playfulness of the water
beats anything. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area  
you won't find many other paddling rivers.
