Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Indiana is often easier than elsewhere, so don't forget that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Louisville, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. No need to look hard for hotels, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.     This is a bit of a short stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you won't find many other paddling places. The nature scenery of Indiana and the playfulness of the water have people coming here. The Corydon Country Club to County Fairgrounds stretch is the only paddling stretch along Little Indian Creek. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. Briefly about the general area: For the duration of the summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Little Indian Creek; the nighttime is fairly colder of course, regularly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Little Indian Creek. Little   Indian Creek is a pretty wet place mostly with much precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while September is regularly the driest month. Don't leave Little Indian Creek without first paying a visit to Sulphur Spring, and a visit to Grable Spring will fill your spirit with nice feelings.
