The starting location is a short drive from Danville, as you can see on the road map further down. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Indiana is often easier than elsewhere, so don't forget that many runs in this state are very easy. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations     you might end up sleeping in your car. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with not too many other spots for that. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. The nature scenery of Indiana and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. This is a pretty short section so better bring some good walking shoes. The Briscoe Road to Big Pine Creek section is the only paddling section along Mud Pine Creek.
