The scenic beauty of Indiana and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. This section is quite short so better bring some good walking shoes. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. There are many good hotels to choose from, but you'd better reserve in advance because     these hotels fill up quick. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Rock Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the County Road 200 to 150 stretch is the only one. If you're coming from Huntington it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page.
