The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Indiana are often more forgiving than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that lots of rivers here are good for beginners. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The Markle to county road 150 section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature will     make you glad you came. This stretch of Wabash River in Indiana is 1.2 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class I-II(III) section. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other rivers. There's camping available near Wabash River. This is a very short section so no need to bring snacks. Briefly about the general area: An average amount of rain falls at Wabash River; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here; February on the other hand is the driest. At Wabash River all through the summertime highs are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's.
