This section of Wabash River in Indiana is 1.2 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class I-II(III) section of whitewater. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the Markle to county road 150 section is one of them. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general     area you won't find many other paddling rivers. The nature scenery of Indiana and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. The average Indiana whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master than those in other states, so better not forget that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. There are many good hotels to choose from, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This is a very short stretch so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.
