White River doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Hindostan Falls stretch is the only one. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you won't find a large number of other rivers. If you've been whitewater rafting and     kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature will have you coming back for more. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Highs all through the wintertime are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at White River dipping down into   the 20's throughout winter nights.
