Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Iowa tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are     suitable for beginners. The natural beauty of Iowa and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. This is an extremely short stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times.
