This stretch of Lizard Creek - SouthBr. is 12 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class I-II section. The starting location is a short drive from Fort Dodge, as you can see on the road map further down. There are some good hotels near the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Lizard Creek - SouthBr. doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the     D22 to mouth section is the only one. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a pretty small number of paddling places. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so pack your sleeping bag.
