This section of Soldiers Creek in Iowa is 1 miles long and is a class I-II section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. This is an extremely short section so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. The campgrounds here     at Soldiers Creek are pretty good. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you won't find many other paddling spots. The park to mouth section is the only paddling section along Soldiers Creek. There are some good hotels near the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Iowa you might find the rivers here a bit more manageable, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very demanding.
