You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The beautiful scenery of Kansas and the water flowing gracefully down Kansas River have people coming here. Kansas River doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Playspot Below I-435 Bridge section is the only one. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. If     you're coming from Kansas City it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page.
